The Honeymoom So Far...

For our honeymoon Scott & I went to St. Louis. Actually, we are staying in St. Charles, which is about 20 miles outside of St. Louis, and has a very cute historic riverfront. Yesterday we went downtown and visited the Arch and the museums around it.
Here we are, about to go up to the top of the Arch in the little cart. We got there nice and early in the morning, and we made up exactly half of the number of people up in the Arch. It was great to visit when there were so few people there!
After going up in the Arch we went to the Museum of Westward Expansion beneath the arch, and also to the Old Courthouse across the street, where the Dred Scott decision was made in the late 1800's. I got 4 new stamps in my national park passport book!
We visited downtown St. Charles and stopped at a coffee shop. I got a caramel latte, and licked the rest of the caramel flavoring from the bottom of the cup. Yum!
Today we went to the City Museum down town, and it was really cool! Outside is a giant jungle gym they call "Monstrocity" and we crawled around in there for a while before it got really, really cold.

Inside the museum were a bunch of big sculptures with tunnels and slides and all kinds of things to crawl around in.

There was also a museum with the world's largest pair of underwear!
And an adult sized ball bin!!!!
We climbed up to the 7th story, the slid down this 7 story spiral staircase. It was pretty amazing!!
Then we crawled around in the enchanted caverns for a while.
There is also a museum of architectural pieces from buildings all across the US, including this huge bar.
We also stopped at a mall and finally found me a pair of brown shoes.
