Getting Ready for the Wedding

I have been pretty busy over the holidays getting stuff ready for the wedding. Over Christmas weekend I made about 400 rolls from scratch. Here is one afternoon's work--this is about 1/4 of the rolls I made.

After New Year's Sarah Williams came over and helped me make some pretty baskets, and organize all the wedding decorations. And she finished making the corsages. Seriously, I should be paying her. Here is the basket for the bubbles that Sarah just "whipped up."

Last Saturday some of our friends threw a shower for us. We all had supper together, then had a little wedding gown making contest...i think the guys won that one. Then the guys stayed in the game room and watched football while the girls went in the house and gave me presents and embarrassed me a lot. :)

This is the look I had on my face most of the night. They made me a beautiful shirt that I wore all night. Most of the pictures were not appropriate to post...

On Sunday we cut up Mom & Dad's Christmas tree to make the table centerpieces for the wedding.

Mom, Lynn, Grandma, and Hannah helped put together the centerpieces.

Here they are!

The guys helped out a lot...

Ok, Scott did keep Olivia distracted for a while, and took the ornaments out of the boxes.

It was a challenge getting down to the shed from the house. Here is a video.

looks like that other "girl-shower" was very red-faced for you!
