During Tulip Time we performed "Return to the Forbidden Planet" at the Opera House. The director wanted my hair to be "extra snazzy," so it got a little taller every day. Here it is on Saturday night!
After the show I went right outside to watch the night parade with my family. Because the facilities at the opera house aren't very clean, i just stuck on a baseball cap. I had to wedge it on to my head, and was a little afraid it might pop off. Here I am with my niece Rhea.
When I got home I took off my hat, and my hair was stuck in the hat shape. All the hairspreay congealed, and I could probably get in a motorcycle accident and my hair would protect me from injury. I was so tired I went to bed before I washed it, and when I woke up the next morning, it hadn't moved!
