Valentine's Day!

For Valentine's Day we had Melanie with us for the weekend. Scott's birthday is also on Feb. 14, so I told him I was making plans. I cooked us a fancy dinner, and Melanie and I set the table. I was especially excited because we used a ton of NEW things we got for our wedding. The dinnerware is new, as well as the candle holder in the middle of the table.

I made bacon-wrapped filet mignon with a red wine glaze. This white pan is also new!

We also had roased red potatoes and greens...in a new dish.

For dessert I made Italian love cake (in a new 9X13 pan) and displayed it on a lovely new cake stand. Yum!
