Last night I decided to do a little experimenting on hairstyles for the wedding. I am wearing this veil that I borrowed from Sarah Williams. She also gave me a tiara I can wear, but I don't know if I really feel like a tiara sort of girl...i am thinking about maybe putting some sort of sparkle or shimmer in my hair. I NEED SOME OPINIONS! Please let me know what you think!
This first one I pinned back some random chunks, and left a piece going across my forehead.
this next one i just left my hair normal, but pulled it across. It looks a little weird with so much hair on the one side...
...so then i pinned that piece back. It looks ok, but just isn't very exciting.

I suppose I can always take out the bobby pins and brush it and it might look ok. I will be doing more experimenting over the next couple months, I guess.

Love the first one! It looks special for a wedding, but still looks like you. I think it is something that would look good after the veil comes off, too. Just keeps getting more real everytime you talk about it ... but to see you in a veil!! :)

Ummmm...I think I am going to stick with blonde for the wedding. Otherwise in 30 years my kids/grandkids will look at my wedding pictures and think, "Mom/Grandma is soooo weird!" Then again, maybe they will say, "Mom/Grandma is pretty hip!"
Jesse and I both vote for #1. So #1 gets both the male and female vote in this house!
Just advice from my wedding... no hair in the face is the BEST idea. If you get hot/sweaty (which still happens in the winter) it's a mess!
Plus get a professional (give them the stress of making you look perfect!) It was worth every penny for me! I'll send you an email about the jewelry. Is it gold or silver around the garnet? -Heidi
