Sorry about my lack of communication lately. This is the busiest time of year for me at work as Regionals and High Performance tryouts are coming up soon. I have also been playing in some adult volleyball tournaments on the weekends, which keeps me running around like crazy. I don't have a weekend at home until mid-May! Still, we have managed to do a few upgrades and changes. We switched our smaller tv with my parent's big tv from the basement. I am pleased to report that I can now read the guide on the tv from the sofa without squinting!
We bought a "new" used fridge. It replaced our lovely, small, not efficient, olive green fridge. We tried to get the guy to buy it off us, but had to settle for paying him $10 to bring it over to my house and put it in the garage. Here is the new fridge:
Scott does not have a drill weekend for the Army in March, so after his Feb. assembly, he started to grow a beard. After about 21 years in the Army, you can imagine that he hasn't seen this much facial hair very often! He doesn't technically HAVE to shave it until April 18, but we'll see if he makes it that long. He says it itches. At least it has reached the soft stage by now!
