I haven't had an opportunity to post anything for a while. Really, nothing very exciting is going on. We have been busy getting wedding plans together, going to see Melanie in "The Wizard of Oz," and cleaning houses. No pictures to show how busy we are.
Scott has some pictures from Thanksgiving. We spent a couple days with his family in Western Iowa, then spent some time with my family in Pella. I will get some pictures from him and post them later this week.
No bites on my house yet. I had an open house a couple weeks ago, and NOT A SINGLE PERSON CAME. In a way, it's a blessing because I am not worrying about moving or where I will live before the wedding. On the other hand, we don't want to be paying two mortgages indefinitely, and can find better things to spend money on, like paying for a wedding. :) Please keep this in your prayers, that the house will sell and I will at least break even, and not lose money.

good luck with the house. We STILL own our house in WI, 18 months after we moved out. We have a renter now though!
Oh, bummer that nobody came to your open house! I'll keep praying about your house while I pray that everything still works out with selling our house. I think the inspection is sometime this week. One good thing is that I can stay there during your wedding:)
I will be praying, friend. Like you said - it is a blessing, though to not have to be worrying about selling/moving while planning a wedding!
"But these things I have planned, won't happen right away; slowly, steadily, surely, the time will come when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, wait patiently, for it will surely happen; it will not be delayed."
~ The Lord to Habakkuk 2:3
Look how the Lord kept His promise for your life by bringing you to Scott in what could be described as "slow" in human terms ... HE will be faithful in taking care of you regarding the house, too!
Love, Lorraine
